Stimson Green Mansion

For the Urban Sketchers February Sketchcrawl, approximately twenty artists descended on the historic Stimson Green Mansion in Seattle.  Cathy, from the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation, did a great job making sure that we had complete access to the mansion. The work from the other artists is posted at Seattle Urban Sketchers

The kitchen in the mansion was upgraded to cater large events (e.g., weddings).  However, the large, shiny stove vent was original and it is impressive!

The billiard room is downstairs in the basement next to the gentlemen’s smoking room.  There are two large statues at one end of the room.  Above the statues are two yellow stained glass windows.
