Last summer, I lived at a fish camp on Grand Isle. My fantastic roommate, Emily, patiently tolerated my many pencil sketches of birds taped to the walls of the camp. Using those preliminary sketches, I am now working on a pastel painting.

A Day on Barataria Bay

The day consisted of a long van ride, airboats, shrimpers and, of course, pelicans!

Someone Got A Ticket
